This pretty much fits the current WAR in Iraq.American Empire President George W. Bush says the Christian GOD is on the American side and wants Americans to kill Iraqi citizens and bomb them into the stone age in the name of GOD, apple pie and democracy.
And of course many of the Moslims who are engaged in terrorism are doing it because their ALLAH god says westerners are infidels who must be killed in the name of ALLAH.
Religion pretty much screws up things.
